Primary Function:Responsible for ensuring the proper implementation, analysis of research surveys, generating sales data reports of RBC-Vietnam and assist the sales and marketing department in its administrative requirements.Major Responsibilities:I. Research Function1. For research projects to be conducted in-house: a. Formulates research plan (with the appropriate research design and sampling) and budget for the assigned study.b. Prepares the questionnaire appropriate to the objective of the study and c. Conducts survey interviews and processes gathered raw data (codes/encodes/tabulates/processes)d. Prepares report for processed data2. For research studies to be commissioned to research agencies:a. Drafts research request with indicated background, objectives, target methodology, and timelinesb. Discusses with research agencies the fieldwork and data processing requirements of the study.c. Monitors fieldwork and coding/encoding of all research projects assigned and ensures adherence of agency personnel to the agreed project specifications.d. Ensures reports submitted by agency answers the research objectives sufficiently.3. Validates research findings with existing internal studies and related data from external sources.4. Monitors research direction and consumer trends of assigned categories/brands.II. Data Management Function1. Monitors and prepares sales data reports according to assigned sales system on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. 2. Coordinates with Corporate Information Technology Department for the creation of system for RBC-Vietnam3. Prepares data report requirements (e.g., weekly data, actual vs. PO, daily average sales, comparative sales, sales ratio, bad order updates, sales contribution per area updates, mid-year and year-end CumPY report, SKU rationalization and special projects, etc.) for RBC-Vietnam.4. Updates brand information (e.g., nationwide launches, number of brands/SKUs, trend for price increase, etc.).5. Coordinates, validates, and confirms with concerned units other pertinent documents to ensure accuracy of reports.5. Ensures compilation of files/updating of database of reports/research output of assigned categories/brands.6. Develops and maintains key contacts with trade outlets, government agencies, and people from industries of interest.III. Administrative Function1. Assists in preparing correspondences, documents, presentation materials, agenda and minutes of meeting.2. Collates, compiles, and checks reports for the Commercial Manager. 3. Maintains confidentiality of records and files of the unit and ensures proper housekeeping and maintenance of office facilities, supplies, and equipment.4. Provides logistic requirements (e.g., scheduling of appointment, meetings, etc.) for the unit.5. Recommends policies and procedures as they relate to internal support and clerical activities.6. Performs other related tasks from time to time.
